The UK Locksmiths Association

ABUS
ABUS is one of the world leading padlock manufacturers who design and build many of their locks in their own factories in Germany. Nowadays most padlocks are made in China so the quality of the locks leaving ABUS in Germany are clearly of a very high standard in security, quality and innovation. They also lead the way in anti-pick cyliders and weatherproofing. Many of their locks which they regard as "marine grade" will stand up to 40 years external use.
Sold Secure
Established in 1992 by Northumbria and Essex Police with the help and backing of the Home Office. Sold Secure is now administered by the Master Locksmiths Association (a not for profit trade association) and works from purpose built laboratories just outside Daventry.
Master Locksmiths Association
A not-for-profit trade association established in 1958, the MLA licenses its approved locksmith companies through strict vetting and regular inspections, in order to ensure quality of service and provide peace of mind to the end customer looking for a high quality locksmith.
