Our Products

Do you supply "One Key Fits All" or "keyed Alike" padlocks? If so, is there a minimum order and how long will it take to deliver?

Yes we supply a number of Keyed Alike padlocks, click here. This means that when you buy two or more padlocks from the keyed alike range they will all be operated by the same key. Each padlock comes with two keys as standard but you can order additional keys if required.

I need a specific size or type of padlock but I cannot find it on your site!

On our website we include our more popular range of padlocks but we do stock hundreds of different sizes and types. If you need something in particular please just get in touch.

I want to make a large order. How can I go about this?

Large orders can be made through the website in the usual way. The site automatically generates the discounts as you go and you'll see this in the basket before you 'checkout'.

If however you find a stock level warning for the quantity you require, you can contact us and we'll back-order the amount you require. Usually we can satisfy any size of order within 3 working days.

Do you sell wholesale? I am a retailer or distributor so can I get reduced rates?

Yes we have special discounts for wholesale bulk orders but you must prove to us that you are not the end user. Please contact us on 0800 612 7877 for details on wholesale discounts.

Security and Online Payments

How secure is this site? I want to make a large order and have concerns about doing it over the internet.

The website is 'SSL' secured and coded to be of the highest security. We do not store your card details since privacy and security are at the top of the our agenda. Protx, the card processors, have a long and admirable track record with secure online payments. More information on Protx can be found at www.protx.com. Our Merchant bank account is HSBC.

What type of credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro and Solo

Is credit available for larger orders?

Yes, credit can be made available for returning customers with larger orders. A purchase order will be required however. We ask that any new customers pay for their first order up front. Each order thereafter is invoiced accordingly allowing 30 days credit. New customers with special order may be subject to credit checks and other security safeguards.

Delivery and Charges

Is there a minimum delivery charge?

For orders up to 1kg we give you the option of shipping through Royal Mail. When you need an order in a hurry or for all orders above 1kg there is a courier option. All orders made before 1pm will be delivered to you the very next day.

How long will it take to get to me?

Orders received by 1pm are dispatched the same day and will reach you within 24 hours if sent via the courier option. However, please allow up to 3 working days for delivery if your select Royal Mail shipping option.

You can login to your account at any time to see the status of any order. We will notify you of any change to delivery by e-mail or telephone providing that we have your correct details with the order.

Can you send an order outside of the UK?

In certain circumstanes yes we can export our products but all orders outside of the UK must be made via a 'Special Order'. Please contact us for more details.

Refunds, Replacement, Cancellations and Complaints

I have made an order on the website and I have still not received my items after 48 hours? Where are they?

Most of our larger orders are sent by recorded mail so if you have not received your items within 48 hours then please let us know and we can track your order. Small and single orders are sent out via royal mail so please allow up to 72 hours for delivery. If there is still no sign of your order please let us know and we will replace your order via recorded delivery.

What if the goods are damaged upon receipt?

In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged please call us within 7 days of your order being placed to arrange a replacement.

My goods are not what I imagined them to be. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, in such cases refunds are not available. All of the products on our website are well described and include high quality images. Mistakes on the part of the customer cannot be rectifed by us for obvious reasons. Our products are of the highest quality and we cannot guarantee the quality of goods which have been returned to us. Our customers would not like to protect valuable items with what would essentially be partially used products. We therefore cannot refund returns of non-faulty products.

I have purchased my order from the website but I have decided that I do not want the items any more. Can I cancel my order?

All orders through the website are in real time and cancellations are not possible. Please check your order thoroughly before completing the order process.

I would like to make a complaint or post feedback. How can i go about this so that it is taken into consideration and not just ignored?

Our on-line sales team aim to provide the very highest level of customer satisfaction with both our products and the service we offer. If you feel we have failed to meet these criteria in any way we would welcome your thoughts regarding improvements. We always welcome constructive criticism.
