Keyed Alike:
This means that when you buy two or more padlocks from the keyed alike range they will all be operated by the same key. Each padlock comes with two keys as standard.

About This Padlock:
The keyed alike long shackle range are exactly same padlocks as the stand brass padlocks except with an extended shackle and still offering tough, reliable security at competitive prices. The 65 series is extremely good value for money and our best selling product by far. The stainless brass casing and stainless steel mechanism also make it highly resilient to all types of weather. We would, however, recommend the weatherproof range if the lock will come into contact with salt water.
Additional Keys:
With every padlock 2 keys are included as standard but if you require additional keys they can be ordered by clicking here.
Sizes:
We currently offer three sizes of keyed alike long shackle padlocks in 30mm, 40mm and 50mm varieties for next day delivery. Please use the drop-down menu above the image to select a different size.
However if you require a different size please contact us and we'll make up a special order. These usually take approximately 4 days to deliver.
Engraving:
Also note that we can engrave the 30mm, 40mm and 50mm padlocks and their keys with numbers and letters at a cost of £1.50 per padlock. If you do require this please contact us for details. As a guide we can fit 4 characters on the 30mm, 6 on the 40mm and 8 on the 50mm.
Uses & Applications:
Our long shackle range afford the same great benefits and proven quality of the standard brass range but enable them to be used where the staple or item you are locking will not fit within a closed standard brass padlock shackle. However, try to avoid using a long shackle type padlock where it is not necessary. This will leave the padlock open to additional types of leverage attacks (i.e. where a crow bar could fit through the shackle itself. ABUS also have a page dedicated to padlock application here.
Technology:
The precision 5 pin tumbler with self-locking mechanism make the brass padlock highly secure against picking, while the hardened steel shackle and double bolted case help protect the lock from force attacks.
